Here’s one I mention that you may not thing is a Romantasy, but it is. And it is one of my favorites! Read the book if you never have. The movie, which is, to me, the best movie ever made, is a version of the book. The book has more to it.
Romantasy is a new term, but romantic fantasy has been around for forever. Take the Princess Bride. What more could you want? Fencing, fighting, torture, revenge, monsters, giants, chases, escapes, true love, miracles.
