It is a treat to get a short story in Gin Blanco’s world that isn’t focused on Gin, but on her sexy brother, Finn. The events in this enovella happen immediately after the last book and it lets us into Finn’s brain, which is not a very nice place to be at first because Finn is carrying along a truckload of misplaced guilt.
The biggest surprise of this enovella is the introduction of Stuart Mosley. He owns First Trust, the bank where Finn is employed and where Finn was tortured by his own mother. Mosely is a fantastic character and I could see him playing a bit of the Fletcher role moving forward, which would be good because the underworld is getting a lot more complicated for Gin and friends.
